Legal Notice
This legal notice applies to the Myrra mobile application and to the Myrra website available at mymyrra.com. It identifies the company that publishes the service, the providers that host it, and how to contact us.
This notice is identical in the application and on the website. In the application, it can be accessed from the Settings screen, under "Legal and About," regardless of any subscription. The public version is published at https://mymyrra.com/en/legal-notice/.

The Myrra application and the Myrra website are published by Myrra FZC LLC ("Myrra"), a Free Zone Company with Limited Liability established in the Sharjah Publishing City free zone, in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, under a technology and digital content business license.

2. Registration Number
Myrra is registered in the United Arab Emirates and identified by its incorporation number and its commercial license number.

The tax registration number will be provided once Myrra is registered for value-added tax in the United Arab Emirates.
3. Publication Director
The publication director is Rim Ajana, in her capacity as legal representative and manager of Myrra FZC LLC. She can be reached at the registered office and at help@mymyrra.com.
4. Hosting
Myrra relies on the following hosting and infrastructure providers. For each provider, the name, the address and a working contact method are given.

The Myrra application is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play, which are distribution channels and not hosting providers. The full list of providers that process data on Myrra's behalf is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Production data is hosted in the European Union region.

Myrra's address of record is that of the company's registered office in the free zone, given in Section 1; the point of contact for users is the support address above. Myrra has no office, premises or staff in the United States and appoints no representative there: appointing a representative within the territory is an obligation specific to the European Union, set out in Article 27 of the European regulation and referred to in Section 7, which has no general equivalent under U.S. law. State automatic renewal laws require the business to be identifiable and reachable through a contact method that responds; an email address satisfies this requirement, a postal address being required only of a business that bills the consumer directly, which Myrra does not do, since the app stores act as merchant of record.
6. Nature of the Service
Myrra is a wellness and nutrition companion designed by a naturopath. Myrra provides wellness and nutrition information and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a healthcare professional. The full health information notice is part of the Terms of Use.
7. Personal Data
Myrra processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at https://mymyrra.com/en/privacy/. The Privacy Policy sets out the data collected, the purposes, the retention periods, the rights granted to users and how to exercise them.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, subject to appropriate safeguards; the providers concerned, their locations and the safeguards are set out in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property
The Myrra name and logo, the application, the website and their content, including the texts, recipes, articles, illustrations and photographs, as well as the underlying software, are the property of Myrra FZC LLC or are used under license, and are protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or reuse, in whole or in part, in any medium whatsoever, without prior written permission, is prohibited, except for uses permitted by law.
"Myrra™" is a trademark of Myrra FZC LLC (trademark application pending).
The open source software components used in the application are listed, together with their licenses, on a page published at the application's launch.
Other product names and logos mentioned (including Apple, App Store, Google Play, Cloudflare, Railway, Supabase) are the trademarks of their respective owners.
9. Terms of Use
Use of the application and the website is governed by the Terms of Use, published on this website when the service opens.
10. Commercial Communications
Myrra sends commercial email only to people who have requested it. Four rules apply to each of these messages, regardless of size or volume, whenever a recipient is located in the United States, and they apply to a sender established outside that country.
- Each message includes a valid postal address of the sender, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and an unsubscribe link.
- An unsubscribe request is processed within ten business days.
- The unsubscribe link remains active for at least thirty days after the message is sent.
- When a provider sends a message on Myrra's behalf, Myrra remains responsible for it.
The subject line and headers of each message are accurate, and its advertising nature is clear. A service message to which an offer is added is subject to the same rules. Prior consent obtained under European law does not exempt Myrra from any of these obligations, which apply in addition to it.
11. Liability for Content
In the United States, two separate regimes govern an online service's liability for content it did not write, and they must not be confused: a copyright safe harbor, which requires designating an agent with the Copyright Office, and a separate protection relating to statements made by users. There is no single hosting-provider regime, and European hosting terminology does not carry over.
No part of Myrra publishes user content visible to another user: food journal photographs remain accessible only to their owner, data entered for household members is structured, and questions addressed to Rim go to her alone. The only rating published is a recipe's average taste rating, which is a number; no text written by a person is published. No designation is therefore required under the first regime, and the second does not apply.
This position will be reviewed upon the launch of any social feature whatsoever: sharing between users, published reviews, a gallery or a public profile. The review covers not only the designation of an agent but both regimes together, as well as the age rating of the store listing and the processing of minors' data.
